90's Heartthrob Eric Fructouso is not Ashamed being a Tricycle Driver





When the pandemic started different industries were forced to temporarily stop operations because of quarantine protocols by the government for everyone’s safety. Including the entertainment industry where Eric Fructuoso is involved. He is a member of the ‘Gwapings’ they have a Television variety show way back in 1992 called “Gwapings Live!”.

Its hosted by Mark Anthony Fernandez, Jomari Yllana, Eric Fructuoso, and Jao Mapa. They were the teen heartthrobs of their time. That’s why Eric Fructuoso caught the attention of netizens after a photo of him riding a tricycle vehicle gone viral online.





He also explained that because of the pandemic and its effect on their work he chose to ride a tricycle instead as his livelihood. The photo was posted in his Instagram account and captioned it with “Times like these hindi pwedeng kaartehan ang paiiralin! Basta legal na pagkakakitaan para sa mga anak, tirahin lang ng tirahin!”.




 Based on his comments to his followers he is now in Naic, Cavite. Whether it's true or not, lots of people idolized and agreed with him for his sentiments. As of now, Eric is busy working on his Youtube Channel and TikTok videos as his hobbies.





Coronavirus really taught us a lot of things and made us realize the importance of life and the struggle to survive, that’s why people are doing everything they can to earn money and stay safe in the middle of a pandemic. We cope in different ways to stay fine and like Eric, this is his own way to provide the needs of his family. His post really inspired the public and praised him for his belief.
