Raffy Tulfo Wants to Ban Mobile Legends in the Philippines

Mobile Legends is one of the most-played games in South East Asia. In the Philippines, there are millions of Mobile Legends players or ML Players who have become hooked on this MOBA or Multiplayer Online Battle Arena. However, even though this game is entertaining, ML can also lead to lots of problems. This is why the famous broadcaster ang the "sumbungan ng bayan" Raffy Tulfo suggested banning the game in the Philippines.

On July 17, 2020, a complainant sought help in Tulfo's program "Wanted sa Radyo." According to the husband, his marriage with his wife has been ruined because of her addiction to Mobile Legends. The husband claimed that his wife has been so immersed in the game, to the point that she neglected her family.

Apparently, the wife is so engrossed in playing Mobile Legends all day. The husband is getting frustrated because she is not doing any household chores and activities throughout the day. When he confronted her about her gaming addiction, his wife left them.

According to Raffy Tulfo, too much addiction to online games can cause people to neglect their responsibilities. Children who are always playing these games neglect their studies, while spouses who are always on their phone ignores their partner. The host added that it would be beneficial if the government will work on regulating this online game.

On the other hand, this is not the first time that the effects of the said online game have been discussed in the program. As a matter of fact, Raffy Tulfo and his staff have dealt with a lot of marital problems which are caused by the one party's addiction to Mobile Legends
