Cockfighting is a centuries-old blood sport in which two or more specially bred birds, known as gamecocks, are placed in an enclosed pit to fight, for the primary purposes of gambling and entertainment. On April 16, President Rodrigo Duterte had a live coverage announcing every report that citizens of the Philippine should know. One of that is about the stubborn netizens who are wasting their money on a cockfight(sabong). He announced that whoever gets caught in a cockfight shall not be given help from the government.

Yesterday morning, a group of cockfighter got caught in the middle of cockfight (sabong) even it said to be taboo. These men don't know about the consequences of what they've done. They are immediately brought to the precinct and the saddest part for them is, their roosters were cooked and fed to the prisoners.

Two of the cockfighters were members of the Social Amelioration Program or SAP. For those who don't know what SAP is,  the Social Amelioration Program (SAP) is an amelioration and welfare scheme for the sugar workers derived from the contribution of the millers and lanters which started in the early 1970s and was institutionalized through Presidential Decree No. 621 and enhanced through the enactment of Republic Act No. 6982 in 1991.

In related news, A man was caught buying an illegal drug, and he used that money that the government gave to him. He immediately admitted the crime he did and tells everything on his interview with the police.
