Vice Mayor of Municipality in Rizal Passed Away after Testing Positive for COVID-19


Day after day, numbers of an infected person are continuously increasing. Corona Virus is really hitting the Philippines so hard. Until now the country is still under the LockDown Quarantine. It is implemented for a month, but everyone is worried that if the increase of the cases it didn't stop, the days of the quarantine may prolong.

Vice Mayor Joliet Delos Santos of Jalajala in Rizal province died on Tuesday, almost one week after testing positive for the coronavirus disease. The vice mayor tested positive for the viral disease on March 25 and had been in isolation since then, his son said in a previous post. He also earlier reported that the vice mayor was already in “stable condition.”



The son of the Vice Mayor confirmed his father's death in a Facebook post. Captioned "Wala pong salita ang katumbas kung gaano kasakit at kahirap na hinde sya makita hanggang sa mga huling sandali ng kanyang buhay. Ito po ay sa kadahilananang personal niyang hiling na ayaw nyang malagay ang kanyang pamilya sa panganib. Bagamat gusto po naten syang makasama sa panahong ito, mas gugustuhin po ng Papa na wag muna tayo mag tipon tipon kung maari, palipasin po muna naten ang crisis na ito, dahil sigurado po ako ayaw nya tayo malagay sa hinde magandang kalusugan, Kapag humupa na ang bagyo, tayo ay mag tipon tipon muli at gunitain ang buhay ni Jose "Jolet" Delos Santos. I-kwento natin ang mga masasaya at magagandang alaala na kasama si JOLET DELOS SANTOS!"
