Grieving Family and Friends of the Late Filipino Frontliners

An aircraft crashed earlier at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, the aircraft exploded while rolling for takeoff at the runway 24, initial info from Manila tower. The aircraft is owned by Lionair Inc. with tail number RPC5880, it was one of the aircraft chartered by the Department of Health (DOH). Initial reports that the passengers included a four flight crew, a doctor, a nurse, and a Canadian national who is believed to be patient and his companion.

A family of one of the passengers that are confirmed departed this life posted her devastating feelings when the aircraft crashed. "I lost my brother on that flight. No words can describe how devastating it is to lose a family member in such a horrific way. How do you process something like this? How. All I know is that he fought like a hero and I can only hope that his fight would not be in vain. RIP, Nicko. I love you, my brother. I will honor you forever."- Ria Bautista captioned this on her post.

There is another post on social media giving grief to his mentor pilot that departed this life because of the plane crashed incident that happened earlier. "Ito na pala yun huling lipad natin sir.
