Angel Locsin Regrets That She Endorsed Koko Pimentel During 2007 Election

Pimentel found out that he tested positive for the highly-contagious disease while inside the hospital on Wednesday. He has since been criticized both by the medical community and regular citizens who have been in home quarantine to prevent the spread of the new virus.

The Makati Medical Center released a strongly-worded statement condemning Pimentel for exposing both patients and the hospital's medical workers to the virus. Under the Department of Health protocol, the senator should have gone on a 14-day self-quarantine from March 14 to March 28 as he was already considered a person under investigation (PUI).

Angel Locsin publicly apologized for endorsing Senator Koko Pimentel during the 2007 senatorial elections. Angel aired her frustration over the recent controversy involving Pimentel online. She even tagged Cat Arambulo saying "Calling [catarambulo_com] where are you?". A Netizen Called out Angel and posted a photo of her with Koko Pimentel beside her endorsing him as a senator. Angel quickly responds with this"Eww".

Another netizen called out Angel and asked a question, "Do you regret that you campaigned for him in a tv ad? Voted for him because of you." Angel responds with this, "Yes. Super. Mortal sin. Patawarin nyo po ako bilang ex-husband po sya ng pinsan ko".

She is teased by another netizen and said, "Di na mauulit ha. Pinky Promise? Hahaha." to which Angel Replied, "Naka-ilang eleksyon na rin naman pong hindi naulit"
