AFP's First Day of Community Quarantine, Checkpoints Being Deployed


Malacañang emancipated the set of guidelines on how government agencies can implement the rigorous social distancing measures and the community quarantine in Metro Manila in a proffer to contain the spread of the pandemic disease COVID-19.



President Rodrigo Duterte raised Code Red Sub-Level 2, and Metro Manila will under "community quarantine". Under alert level, land, domestic air, and domestic sea travel going in and out of Metro Manila will be Suspended from March 15 - April 14, 2020.



According to reports, the Philippine National Police's National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) has apparently already identified the primary checkpoints that will be manned by a combination of PNP Officers, Philippine Coast Guard, as well as Armed Forces of the Philippines personnel.




One of the roads that will be going to have a checkpoint is in Ortigas Ave. Pasig City. Where the boundary of Cainta, Rizal and Pasig City is placed.
